Walking, Running, and Racing To Reston Station
This past Sunday, Founding Farmers supported walkers, runners, and general celebrators for the 10th anniversary “We’ve Got Your Back” Race for Spinal Health in Reston, VA. We provided packets of our tasty, scratch-made granola for everyone attending this Healthy Living Festival.
This Spinal Research Foundation fundraiser is a 5K race and 1-mile fun run, as well as a lively party for those who have overcome back and neck pain. Sunday’s event took place on the newly paved streets at Reston Station. Located on the Silver Line at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, this up and coming destination is the future home of Founding Farmers Reston Station.
Opening this winter, Founding Farmers Reston Station will be a full-service restaurant and bar open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch on Sundays.
The race and fun run was a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday and raise awareness for this important cause. The Spinal Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving spinal health through research, education, and patient advocacy.
