Virginia Celebrates Craft Beer
VA craft beer is taking center stage this summer as Virginia celebrates their love of craft beer with festivals, special events, and fun/interactive craft brewery happenings.
In fact, Virginia is in good company as CraftBeer.com reports that the average American lives within 10 miles of a craft brewery. And the Brewers Association reports that craft beer volumes are steadily achieving double digit market growth.
Here at Founding Farmers Tysons, and in all our restaurants, we’re huge fans of craft beers and bringing the art of creating and selecting a specialty and/or seasonally influenced craft beer to our guests.
So much so that our FFT beverage team offers hand selected, Virginia-brewed craft beers on tap in the form of specialized beer flights and premium stainless steel growler options in our craft beer program, and also works closely with DC-area based craft breweries, such as Virginia’s own Devil’s Backbone Brewing Co.
For more information on Virginia’s approximately 100 local area craft beer breweries and participating events, go to VA Craft Brewers Fest and virginia.org/craftbeer.
Here’s to some happy (& safe) craft beer fun this summer!
