Revived by Craft Beer, Bluegrass & Bacon Lollies
On Saturday, Founding Farmers joined Maryland beer lovers and makers at REVIVE! A celebration of Maryland’s award-winning beer and cuisine.
Hosted by the Brewers Association of Maryland, guests enjoyed an evening of craft beer and tasty food, while dancing to the bluegrass melodies of The Plate Scrapers. The lively evening was held on the beautiful, rolling hills and woodlands surrounding The Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City.
Our team was delighted to be part of this special evening, serving our Bacon Lollies paired with Brookville Beer Farm‘s Yellow Finch Pale Ale.
Guests got to taste the gold medal winners from the 2017 Maryland Beer Competition and were the first to hear the announcement of the 2018 competition winners. The much-coveted Comptroller’s Cup medalists were also celebrated.
Maryland’s craft beer industry includes nearly 100 operating breweries and is comprised primarily of locally-owned businesses that directly contribute to the state’s economy through job growth. They are also committed to Maryland agriculture and farming, which aligns with the mission of our farmer-owned company.
A portion of the event’s proceeds was donated to the Ellicott City Partnership in an effort to help support community recovery from the devastation of recent floods.
