MoCo’s Founding Farmers Presents Our Local Brew Series on Our New Patio
Get ready, beer enthusiasts! MoCo’s Founding Farmers is thrilled to announce an exciting event that’s perfect for celebrating the season on our beautiful new patio: our Local Brew Series! Throughout the seasons, MoCo’s Founding Farmers will partner with multiple local breweries to feature specialty beers on our new outdoor patio. So far, we have partnered with popular breweries like Denizen’s Brewing Co., Brookeville Beer Farm, 7 Locks Brewing, and Silver Branch Brewing Company.
Join us for our next event on our Potomac patio on September 17th from 4pm-7pm. Don’t miss an unforgettable evening featuring three specialty craft beers from Atlas Brew Works.
We are thrilled to collaborate again with Atlas Brew Works for our final Local Summer Brew Series! With two 100% solar powered locations in the District, Atlas Brew Works crafts a wide array of crave-worthy artisanal beer. Their brews are available at more than 2,000 locations in DC, MD, and VA, including Nats Park.
Featured beers available for purchase for our September 17th Local Brew Series include:
- Atlas Festbier – The Atlas Festbier is lighter in both color and body than a traditional Oktoberfest beer, resulting in a stein-worthy lager. Sweet bread notes are imparted from a blend of Munich, Vienna, and Pilsner malts. We owe the delightful orange blossom aromas to the combination of German and American hops. Fill your mug and Prost! ABV 6.1%
- Atlas Dance of Days – Dance of Days is a pale ale generously hopped with beautiful and bright Citra and Mosaic hops. We add malt to the grain bill of the Pale Ale to give the beer a robust body and silky mouth feel that perfectly complements the floral and citrus flavors from two of our favorite hops. Named in homage to the DC punk scene, this well balanced Pale Ale has hop flavor and aroma for days. ABV: 5.7%
- Atlas Ponzi – A West Coast IPA hopped with criminal disregard. Featuring generous additions of Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Mandarina and Amarillo hops, followed by hints of Munich malt, Ponzi’s aroma writes checks that its flavor cashes. If it seems too good to be true, you’re probably drinking Ponzi. ABV: 7.3%
- Atlas Blood Orange Gose – Our Blood Orange Gose is light bodied and effervescent. This slightly tart session sour offers a touch of salinity accompanied by sweet Orange aromas and faint notes of berry. A beautifully refreshing beer; the salinity will keep you coming back for more while the low ABV makes sure you don’t regret it in the morning. ABV: 4.4%
- Atlas Half Street Hefeweizen – Heavy banana and sweet bread on the nose. Undertones of bubblegum and pear. Fruity and toasty flavors reminiscent of banana bread. Light-bodied and bubbly. ABV 5.3%
Our all-new, expansive, year-round patio is the perfect setting for our Local Brew Series. Designed to be enjoyed in any weather, the patio features fans for those warm summer evenings, heaters for cooler nights, retractable sides for added comfort, and a louvered roof that welcomes sunshine and summer breezes but also creates shade when needed. It’s the ideal spot to relax, enjoy great local beer, and soak up the summer vibes.
To secure your spot, we recommend reserving on OpenTable for the Local Brew Series “experience” at MoCo’s Founding Farmers on September 17th. Or swing by to grab our next available table. Please be aware spaces are limited, and this is one celebration you won’t want to miss.
