Founding Farmers Tysons
Conveniently located near Tysons Corner Center off I-495 and near the Tysons Station on the Metro’s Silver Line, Founding Farmers Tysons is a full-service restaurant and bar open every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Every weekday, our First Bake Cafe also serves grab & go breakfast fare, including an assortment of handcrafted pastries, bagels, and other breakfast favorites with a full barista coffee service.
Majority owned by American family farmers, Founding Farmers Tysons is a full-service restaurant and bar open every day, offering classic American-inspired dishes infused with the culinary traditions of Virginia, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables straight from Virginia farms, whenever possible. Every weekday, our First Bake Cafe also serves grab & go breakfast fare, including an assortment of handcrafted pastries, bagels, and other breakfast favorites with a full barista coffee service. Bar highlights include craft cocktails made with our very own Founding Spirits, our own Rose wine made in partnership with Virginia vintners at Early Mountain Winery, and our exclusive, Virginia-brewed craft beer on tap.
Designing and building Founding Farmers Tysons – much like our other Founding Farmers restaurants and all of the restaurants in the Farmers Restaurant Group – was a labor of love. We have created our interpretation of a Virginia farmhouse, complete with our sun tea room, many cozy nooks, a barn-framed bar ceiling made with reclaimed barn wood, and handcrafted, American-made Beachley furniture. Founding Farmers Tysons is LEED certified, built to the same sustainable standards as our other locations, and operates as a 3 Star Certified Green Restaurant®. We celebrate local and regional artisans and artists and enjoy bringing their talented creations to our guests. We like to think we have also created a modern art gallery, and have commissioned many pieces of original art.
As a farmer-owned company, our NOVA guests are supporting American family farmers as they enjoy our scratch-made cooking and our unique and inviting restaurant. Founding Farmers Tysons is conveniently located near Tysons Corner Center off I-495 and near the Tysons Station on the Metro’s Silver Line.

Can you accommodate specific food allergies (nuts, dairy, gluten, seafood, etc.)?
Yes, in most cases. Our servers and chefs are trained to address food allergies and can offer menu variations. However, if you have a life-threatening food allergy which can be triggered by cross-contact, our restaurant may not be right for you—we cook almost everything from scratch and therefore the avoidance of cross-contact is not something we can guarantee with 100% certainty. If you have an allergy of this severity, please call ahead to discuss with us, as we may determine it is safest you dine elsewhere. For non-cross contact allergies, we kindly request that you provide your server with any allergy or dietary concerns before you order, and your server will help you select an item that does not contain your allergen; we will not remove an allergen from dish as that can lead to errors, but we will absolutely help you select the best dish for you.
Do you have a kids menu?
One of the best things about our menu is that we try to offer a little something for every taste bud out there. We have many “kid-approved” items on our regular menus, and our service team is happy to help you choose the best item for the children in your party.
Do you offer vegan and vegetarian options?
Our menus feature many vegetarian options, and our servers can recommend options for our vegan guests, making modifications whenever possible. Please be sure to mention any dietary concerns to your server.

Our focus is to provide our guests with the freshest, highest quality ingredients that have been grown and harvested, and then expertly prepared by our talented chefs from scratch every day. View our menus.
What time do you start serving lunch?
Lunch service begins at 11am Monday – Friday and runs through the late afternoon; the lunch and dinner menu are the same. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch buffet is served until 2pm. After 2pm on weekends, the lunch and dinner menu is served.
Are dogs allowed in your outdoor/patio area?
Our outdoor patios at Moco’s Founding Farmers in Potomac, MD and Founding Farmers Fishers & Bakers in Georgetown allow dogs. We’re pet friendly and will happily host furry friends of any size as long as they are leashed, get along with other dogs, are not barking excessively, or intruding on other guest experiences.
