HEAT & EAT THANKSGIVING AT HOME — PICK UP This year, we are bringing more than just our delicious scratch-made food to your holiday table. We are also providing food and drink for the entire holiday weekend.  

At Farmers Restaurant Group, we are excited to announce we have taken another step to do more good and less harm for the earth and so many of its beautiful creatures.

This past Sunday, Founding Farmers supported walkers, runners, and general celebrators for the 10th anniversary “We’ve Got Your Back” Race for Spinal Health in Reston, VA. We provided packets of our tasty, scratch-made granola for everyone attending this Healthy Living Festival.

All of our restaurants across Farmers Restaurant Group – Founding Farmers, Farmers Fishers Bakers, and Farmers & Distillers – are LEED certified, or we are in the process of pursuing LEED certification.

Last Friday evening, the new Founding Farmers King of Prussia team got an opportunity to meet some of our soon-to-be neighbors in Pennsylvania at the Remarkable Farms Gala. Created by Greener Partners, this annual event celebrates the revitalization of local, small working organic farms.

Buzz on over to one of our restaurants this week – Founding Farmers DC, Farmers Fishers Bakers, and Farmers & Distillers – for a taste of the Bee’s Knees. This delicious, Prohibition-era cocktail is being served as part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness and funds to support honey bees and other pollinators.

Farmers Restaurant Group has paired up with The George Washington University Food Institute and the National Farmers Union to launch a 12-week series of Farm Facts videos to be featured primarily on social media.

Friends and family gathered on Saturday for a lovely evening of food and drink, while watching some of the best polo in the DC metro area. Founding Farmers teamed up with Summerhill Polo for the Harvest Cup.

November can’t get here soon enough as far as we’re concerned. Founding Farmers King of Prussia is opening its doors for business on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, and we’re all bubbling with excitement about our very first foray outside the DC metro area.

Yesterday, Founding Farmers joined our Montgomery County friends and neighbors at the 2017 Park Potomac Fall Festival. The afternoon festival of fun for kids, adults, and families included live music from The 19th Street Band, pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting, a petting zoo, and a fundraiser for Children’s National Medical.
